I really agree with your statement that we are to cherish our loved ones while we have them with us. We also will never know how hard it can be when they enter into the stages of dementia because although they are with us- sometimes they really are not- because they may not know us or remember the things we  care about. Love each other and hold to God's unchanging hand

Never take your loved ones or friends for granted!

Life is unbearably lonely when they are gone.  The sad emptiness cannot be filled.

Enjoy the people you love and who love you....they are precious and cannot be replaced!
