Unable to Empty the Cart

Today's daily deal is stuck in my shopping cart and cannot be removed.  This daily deal has expired.   I tried to remove the item from my cart by "empty the cart" and "remove" the item, but it continues to be stuck in the cart.  Clearing cache and logging in and out of my account does not help.  I hope tech support can address this problem.

Same problem for me, but mine is a Darden card.  Army49's summary matches my experience.  It appears to be removed but if you go back in the cart, there it is.  Clearing cache, restarting my phone, restarting my PC, etc. have zero effect.

I have an "expired" Home Depot daily deal in my shopping cart that I was not able to purchase because it sold out before I could complete the check out process.  I tried to remove it, and it is stuck in my cart.  There is a glitch that AARP needs to address.
