You haven't finished customizing your AARP membership

I keep getting emails saying "You haven't finished customizing your AARP membership".

How do I make them stop?

I've been getting the same email.  It is probably a scam.  I clicked on the link that you were given and it wants you to sign up to be able to send private messages ( not at all related to stopping the emails).  ????

@poppy89 I'm happy to share more info. You do have to log in or sign up for an AARP Online Account in order to send private messages in the AARP Online Community. If you do not see the option to enable private messaging after logging into your account, please get in touch with us via phone, chat, or text here - https://aarp.info/3epCObA - so we can help with the email you received. - Christy C.

You may need to enable your private messages first. Check our article for the instructions: https://aarp.info/47hWcl7 - Diana G.
