Medicaid eliibility

My wife collects medicate and is under the limit for medicaid eligibility. I collect too much in Medicare to be eligible  for medicaid.

Is my wife still eligible for medicaid?

You don’t COLLECT Medicare - you collect Social Security -

Now if you are talking about Medicaid that covers medical cost and not Long Term Care -  If you two live together in the same household or file your taxes as married filing joint - have assets and resources together - then they are gonna count your income and her income to assess eligibility for MEDICAID.

Check out the income/asset levels on how Medicaid works with Medicare based on the program.  This list is pretty correct although some states don’t count any assets - states are the ones that design their Medicaid programs..

IT‘S ALWAYS SOMETHING . . . . .. . . .
