ANOTHER Missing Instant Win $10 Home Depot gift card
I won a Home Depot $10 gift card yesterday and I never received the confirmation email! Going through the posts here in the community posts, it looks like this is a common problem. I checked my spam email and it's NOT there either. I had this same issue about a year ago and it took over a month of "escalating" my case by customer service and a dozen efforts to contact AARP customer service before I ever received my gift card! I hope I don't have to go through this again to get my gift card, if so, it's NOT worth the effort! Anyone else having the same PROBLEM?

Hi ah43285461. I understand it's frustrating when you don't get your gift card right away. Gift card emails can take up to 24 business hours to be received. I can check on the gift card for you. Can you send us a private message with your name and mailing address, so we can locate your AARP Rewards account? @RiverBoatAndrew, @sh30592221 , @OneDayMatisyahu I called AARP and they see that I did win the Walmart card, but no email had been generated yet. It is being processed. They said it takes 24 business hours for them to process the email. That's strange because that is not always the case.
Apparently they have had a bad weekend because with the posts on this forum of not getting their gift cards . Tthey only have 12 business hours a day so.that is why they say you have to wait 2 to 3 days to get it. I don't understand how you can get some very quickly and you have to wait for others for a few days.

I just contacted AARP customer service (Cheryl)... This was her reply... "
- I am so sorry you did not yet receive your gift card. Being that was over the weekend, and we are not here, you do need to allow 24-72 business hours to receive. Our business hours are Mon. - Fri. from 8 am EST - 8 PM EST.1:02 PM
- It is 24 hours during normal business hours."SO NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS before I can even ask AARP to look into this!?!?

I am probably going to have the same problem but with a different gift card. I won a $10 Walmart card early this morning. Haven't received the email yet. Had this happen before also. That time after I posted on here I received the card after 3 days. But I am not counting on it. This site has so many problems, for oh so very long.
I just had to sign in again to make this post. That is the 4th time in a day and a halt that they made me sign in. Like I said - soooooo many problems.

Like shamit I had won a $10 Walmart card Instant Win - on Friday 4-4 early am hours - but have not received the Wining email.
In the past I would have received the wining email within a minute or two of wining; nowadays it can take 6- 10 minutes; but never more two days 😖 WTF.
What the heck is going on ??? 😠
Don't like the idea of calling AARP customer care 🙄 .
Any other(s) who had won an Instant Win but have not received their 'expected' email - you should report.......let it be known.
Update: Finally received Walmart gift card email ~ 5:18 pm est 4-7-25

When AARP treats its very own paying $ members like this (so many problems)... You have to wonder how long those same $ members are going to remain with AARP, or why they would want to!

@OneDayMatisyahu , I am sure there are other folks out there with same issue but have lost interest in complaining = same response from AARP @AARPConsumerCare = we are sorry, send us a PM = then repeat.
