SHEETZ GIFT CARDS "INVALID"

My wife and I each purchased $5 Sheetz Gift Cards in December 2025 with our AARP points. We tried to use them last week at a local Sheetz only to be embarrassed by finding that the 2 gift cards were "INVALID". The clerk tried to enter the numbers manually but they still came up as "INVALID". The check out line was forming behind us so we felt like IDIOTS! I paid our bill with cash. When we arrived home, I attempted to check the balance on the cards on the Sheetz website, but ONCE AGAIN, the cards came up as "INVALID" numbers. THANKS FOR NOTHING AARP! I'm wondering how many of our other gift cards purchased on the AARP SITE are also "INVALID"!!!

[5/21/26] Geez @RiverBoatAndrew , now I am VERY CONCERNED!!!

Lol, heading to go "check" my 4 STAPLES $5 giftcards BEFORE I "waste" my time & gas to visit their store.

➡️[*** JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2026 - I know WE had to have the AARP Customer Service people RESEND giftcards that had for some reason EXPIRED (they are suppose to not).

I was GLAD people posted about that ISSUE or I would have NOT known. And yes, we can PRINT them out but for one who does NOT own a printer = trip to library to pay to print. Nope, my gas budget.

Anyway, SO SORRY this happened!!! 😞

Anyone else had this happen to them?

If YES, did you figure out a SOLUTION?

*** Wonder IF Merkle or Sheetz "messed" up. 🤔

HAPPY Thursday All,

Nicole 🤗💛
