Why is this game so cut throat? People are nasty if you make a mistake or cards do not fall as expected.  It's a real put-off to playing the game with such hateful attitudes towards partners in this game.

It shouldn’t be.  Ignore it and do whatever you do.  If they don’t like it they can drop out.

I agree but they can be extremely demeaning and cruel. I've seen players ridicule each other. It's disheartening.

Even if they are nasty, that’s on them.  Things bother a person if they allow it to.  You can choose to not allow it to bother you and play how you want.  They can leave if they don’t like it.  If they act like 12 year olds that’s on them.  The best reaction is to not react to them.  Play the way you want, and don’t react or allow it to bother you.  They have the adolescent problem, not you.
