Golf Solitaire Anyone?

I I play this frequently and have gotten pretty good at it.  I love the combination of fast reflexes and keen observation to try and post a high score.  I play the hard version and always try to finish in under one minute.
What's frustrating is that it seems the better I've gotten, the less winnable games AARP serves up.  I generally allocate time to play until I win a game.  I used to win about once every 20 games (roughly 20 minutes).  Now it seems like I can play for an hour and never get a winning game.

Plus after all the hundreds of games I've played over the years, I can't break 1599 as my high score.  I daily see players in the 1600's and even 1700's.  To get a score like that you have to move fast and retain a lot of cards in the deck, meaning there were runs set up that just flow. I've yet to get dealt a hand like that.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
