He bought a run down TV station and put it up on satellite.

Founder of CNN - 24 hour news network

Previous owner of the Atlanta Braves

Largest land owner in the USA 

Among many other things 

He definitely helped turn Atlanta into the city that it is today 

I met him many years ago at a charity event - 

He is leaving quite a legacy
