Hello, has anyone else paid for the airbnb gift card and not receive anything? Its been more than 1 week since they said they would escalate the claim, probably 2 weeks since ive paid cash for my gift card. I keep calling the claims agent and leaving voicemails, but no call back and no emails. If anybody has any advice on what to do I would appreciate it.
I wish I saw your post before I purchased 5x $500 Airbnb gift cards last weekend. I was planning to use them to reserve an Airbnb listing. Through the chat this morning with AARP, I told them that I needed to use the gift cards for booking and was told that it would take 24 hours during normal office hours to get them.
I checked the airbnb listing just now and it is no longer available.
The listing has gone and now I am not even sure when AARP will send me the gift cards.
I am beyond disappointed at this point. Apparently multiple people in this forum had issues like this. I just can’t understand what is taking them so long to process those DIGITAL gift cards. And the fact that other members have had issues like ours many times before is very concerning.
Is there anyone from AARP who can actually help us? Please
This happened to us as well, back in the spring. It took DAYS (maybe less than 2 weeks) to get email delivery of Airbnb gift cards. LOTS of calling/texting/emailing. All of the information was correct, all of the funds were available, so there was no reason for it to happen. It was incredibly frustrating.
I can understand your concern, @RxN101924. The Digital Rewards will be delivered by email within 24 hours for orders submitted during normal business hours (8 am - 5 pm EST, Monday – Friday). Delivery times may exceed 24 hours in certain instances.
