Promo code in Webletter?

Just curious 🤔

I've noticed there has been no promo code-earn 50 points- in the weekly Webletter I've rec'd last 3 weeks

Don't recall reading it was being removed Did I miss something? 

I've been cking community but seen no mention about it so decided to ask ??if anyone else noticed this?? 

Webletter appears same as always just no promo code... it always been weird one to enter 

Rewards 2X's week still has its promo code

Hey Ginger!

I was wondering if the Webletter code was going to reappear this week.  I was hoping someone was out of the office with the lettuce flu or something less bothersome.  Of course, it did not appear.  They know how many people actually enter the code each week.  If it is not used enough then they probably didn't want to pay for something or someone to continue maintaining the Webletter code each week.  We know it is all about the money; come on.

I miss the extra little 50 kick once a week.  As you know I posted the Webletter code on the forum for, maybe a month short of 5 years, so, I'm a fan of the little bump in points.  Overall, I'm a fan of the rewards program.  I like it or I wouldn't bother taking all the time necessary nowadays to earn the points.

So, what do we do now with a trimmed down Webletter?  I'm seeing a lot of broken links in my Webletter.  Also, the articles seem to be frequently "recycled" from the Daily Newsletter, so, usually nothing really good to read.  No promo code maybe one less email if I choose not to subscribe?  I certainly will keep the Rewards Newsletter, because sometimes there is a "deal" of a points only offering or something like that.

I noticed the very first week.  No one posted about it on here so I thought I would just let it go.  Thought it was just a 1 time omission.  Then it wasn't there the 2nd week.  I now know it is gone after not being there for the third week.  Just another cut they don;t want to draw attention to  I know it isn't much but it was a bonus you got even it you reached the maximum points in a day.

I recall one of the quizzes has a question about what days of the week does the newsletter arrive and I think it also mentions the bonus points.  Have not come across that quiz recently but if it shows up maybe ask AARP about it.  Not that they even care if the quizzes are inaccurate…

Ginger @gm5271 & @shamit , I had "posted" about it in the "Webletter & Rewards Newsletter" thread the 1st week it happened. Usually AARP Sandy would "respond" on the site. Lol, zero response = I figured the code went bye bye. 👍

Next will be the Newsletter code. 😉

Did my "usual" asking my AARP Friends IF they had gotten a CODE. I had "skipped" sending you (Shamit) & Ginger a PM asking as I didnot think Ginger received it. Already knew you followed the "rules" & would not PM me the code. 😉

EVERYONE had "responded" no code.

Well, I had decided to UNSUBSCRIBE from BOTH the Webletter & Newsletter last week. Lol, one thing "less" to p.ss me off. 🤣

Guys, as Shamit said - they "quietly" eliminated the FREE 50 rewards points code. Really shameful!

As I have posted in the past all the rewards we are getting now IS we don’t get any rewards, it’s Take Take Take , Remove, Remove Remove

eventually there is not going to be anything left for them to Take away or remove from members.
