Flaw in earning the maximum points

@AARPJanelleM

Hi Janelle,

Today as I reached 7350 points the system told me that I had earned the maximum.

Could you please look into it? I saw that the AARP IT team has recently made some changes and that could be an unintended consequence,

Thank you.

I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere, however, I don't recall posting my method of maximizing points earned each day of the week (members only):

I recommend that the points be earned in the order shown

Every day

Daily AARP.org visit =    15

23 videos x 300 pts  = 6,900

1 Tool/calculator

or (75pt) quiz x 75  =    75

2 (450pt) quiz x 450 =   900

Total                = 7,890

Tuesday & Friday

Daily AARP.org visit =    15

23 videos x 300 pts  = 6,900

1 Tool/calculator

or (75pt) quiz x 75  =    75

2 (450pt) quiz x 450 =   900

Total                = 7,890

AARP Rewards

Newsletter Promo code=   100

Total                = 7,990

Saturday

Daily AARP.org visit =    15

23 videos x 300 pts  = 6,900

1 Tool/calculator

or (75pt) quiz x 75  =    75

2 (450pt) quiz x 450 =   900

Total                = 7,890

AARP Rewards

Webletter Promo code=     50

Total                = 7,940

Note: This is the method I use and may not be the best method, it is just the best I can think of on a weekly basis. I do not have the AARP Now app and do not plan to install it, so, I don't consider the 15 pts earned from an app visit. I only use videos, quizzes, tools/calculators, promo codes and the automatic daily visit pts.  Maybe this will be helpful to somebody.

@a170938b Thanks for reaching out! I reviewed your account and I see you actually earned the maximum daily points on February 6. I sent you a private message with a list of the points earned for that day. Let me know if there's anything I can do!

Maybe someone can explain to me how I am suppose to earn the 7950 daily points when admin has thrown 15pts daily login into the mix.

17 quizzes @450pts = 7650. You add a 300 pt video and you get 7950, but the daily 15pts throws that all out the window. I think they just put that in there to mess with us.

Just Saying

I don't think the 15 points count toward the daily maximum,

@a170938b

Did you miss seeing the pic i included with my post ??

The "Rewards terms and conditions clearly states the daily login to an AARP online account this activity is subject to the maximum daily earring limit" Pretty plain in my book. How about it @AARPJanelleM  would you care to comment. Just Saying

@rednexsrus

Hey Lucy

Curious.... why now your asking? We've always gotten 15 points for Daily sign-in except for one brief period sometime ago they removed Daily sign-in but only days b4 restored

So can't help but wonder why you are asking about it now??

Thanks

Hi Ginger

What I was trying to get across was if you can earn 7950pts daily and then figure in the 15 daily points, that leaves 7935 pts you still need to earn. Well it would be difficult to earn that amount doing 450pt quizzes, 300pt video's, 75pt calculators.

If you look at @andrewtoo's  post he explains it really good, even to the point of earning 7990 points. That's all I was saying
