Staying Sharp Video page

Many give points, many do not
If you want the points then you have to work for them, especially during this maintenance.

Hello Rewards Warriors,
I would also like to know how to earn points by taking Quizzes, forget watching the Videos (not enough points). I've tried everything and nothing works to even gain access into Rewards.
This is the reward we get for being paying members.
@AARPTeri would you please post detailed instructions on how to earn points without access to the Rewards program. Will daily point earners be reimbursed for the missed points during the Maintenance problem? That would be a great reward!!
Have a Blessed Day,
Marylin

Hello Nicole,
This will definitely help members with expiring points, instead of points being deducted at the date the Maintenance began. You will have more points for the deduction to come from, leaving you with a greater ending balance.
P.S.
How do you know you're earning points, if you can't access Transaction History?
Have a Blessed Day,
Marylin

from the notice:
AARP Rewards Program โ Temporary Service Interruption
Weโre currently experiencing a temporary disruption in the AARP Rewards program due to unexpected technical issues. As a result, access to certain program features is temporarily paused while we work to restore full functionality.
You can still complete earn activities and continue to accumulate points during this time. We encourage you to keep engaging with available opportunities while we work behind the scenes.
We want to reassure you that we do not take this interruption lightly. Our teams are working diligently and around the clock to resolve the issue as quickly and securely as possible.
We deeply value your dedication to the AARP Rewards program and recognize the inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued participation.
HOW? TELL US HOW TO EARN. The only thing I seem to be able to earn is a handful of games.

๐ [9/8/25] @BtW751689 , IF you got the AARP email with the Earn Links, they sometimes work. Andrew @andrewtoo posted "additional" links. Nicole!

@BtW751689 If you search the AARP website, there are many videos and quizzes with rewards badges that will get you points (beyond the links in the email). I have been able to max out my points every day since I found out we could still earn points. There are still some videos that have rewards badges that don't give points, but most of them do.

Maybe I am looking in the wrong place (I do not see the post from Andrew with a link....yet...) but from what I do see, just starting with the "Health" tab, seems like you have to scroll through a lot of pages before maybe finding something. Unlike when the site is functional and everything is on one page. Not sure I want to spend the time trying to find these Easter eggs. I will likely again request the missing points since their site being down obviously is not a member issue, it is an AARP issue.
OK I found Andrew's post and like the other supposed rewards page, it does seem like there is no rhyme or reason to earning since the site just seems to list topics vs actual rewards earning opportunities. It seems like it could take several hours to possibly earn and then having to remember tomorrow what you already earned without the "check mark". Thanks for info.

These are Andrewโs links, perhaps this will work for you:
https://www.aarp.org/games/category/rewards-games/
https://www.aarp.org/search/?q=Quiz&c=rewards
https://www.aarp.org/search/?q=Videos&c=rewards
https://www.aarp.org/search/?q=Recipe&c=rewards
I copied and paste them on a Word Doc or you can take a screenshot, because it is difficult to find them in the comments.
I hope it helps.

This program has been screwed up for a couple of years. They don't have the ability to fix it. It's now been over a week and they can't fix it? Stick to selling insurance products and get someone capable to run this.
Also, they have dumbed down the "rewards" to $5 gift cards? Haven't you heard about inflation, $5 might not even cover the tip. Get real, AARP.
