Update:  As of November 18th: We were looking forward to revealing the new AARP Rewards enhancements today. Unfortunately, we hit a snag and won’t be ready until tomorrow, November 19th. We’re working diligently to bring you the best experience possible. Thanks for your patience!

Thank you for being part of AARP Rewards. You're at the heart of everything we do, and we care deeply about providing you with the best possible experience. That's why we're excited to announce new AARP Rewards enhancements coming soon.

AARP Rewards enhancements include a new personalized dashboard where you can track your activities, easier ways to find new rewards. To bring these improvements to life, we are performing scheduled maintenance from Friday, November 15, 2024, until Monday, November 18, 2024. During this period, the entire AARP Rewards site will be temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely thank you for your patience.

As a retired IT worker, for MAJOR casino / resort company, this would NEVER be acceptable; as we've written to AARP previously. We requested beta-test group, we advised co-server, never accepted advise... so now, AARP, will you please accept your current IT is not acceptable? And outsource IT to bring AARP into the current technology? Please?

i opened my dashboard and am somewhat confused by it. What I am seeing is:

November 17, 2024 - November 23, 2024

Last updated November 15, 2024 at 12:00:00 AM

with numbers for Total activities complete, etc.

How can the data for Nov 17 - Nov 23 last be updated on Nov 15 before the period addressed by the dashboard and when the system was down? Should the dashboard data not be real time otherwise what purpose does it serve?

If you need testers for your system before it is placed in production, I would be glad to volunteer to help out. As a retired software engineer, I do have experience in the  development and testing of production systems. I am sure there are quite a few other retired professionals who participate in the program who have insight into testing as well.

Thank you.

It is 9:27 PM EST on the 19th. The system was up a bit this afternoon but now it appears we are back to the notice that maintenance is being done and the site will be up on Nov 19. So what is the new date that the system will be up and running?

@AARPTeri @AARPConsumerCare    Can you give us an update on the update, please?

Should we expect it to come up today as scheduled?

It is Monday, Nov 18 and the system is STILL down. Perhaps I took the announcement of system maintenance too literal when it said 'until Monday, November 18'. Any idea when the system will be back up?

Thank you.

Yes, any previously earned points will transfer.  However, there will be no points earned during the maintenance period.

The FAQ page at https://www.aarp.org/rwd-mnt-faq/ says "You can also check our maintenance page for the latest updates." but it doesn't give a URL for that page.  Where is it?

RE:   Maintenance FAQs

Question: How will I know when the maintenance window is complete?

Keep an eye on your email for a message from us. You can also check our maintenance page for the latest updates.

Try this link  ➡️  https://www.aarp.org/Maintenance/rewards/.

From there, maintenance updates and/or maintenance completion should be visible.

Got a sneak peek of some changes today. It looks like the rewards drop-down has been updated. [see below]  🙂
