Eclipse lodging in Cleveland

I've booked an Amtrak to Cleveland OH for the April 8th Eclipse
and am in need a space to doss for two nights from 7 to 9 April.
within a mile of the Amtrak station. can anyone assist?

I've checked the web for best price
& found a Motel 6 room for $486.33!!
And that's with the AARP discount !!

1 comment (3/13/24) @JosefFaber , NO ONE from AARP has posted in this forum so far but maybe @AARPConsumerCare may. Apparently this is a NEW account they "created" to help on this site. If you have read the posts here, folks have "complained" for YEARS that an AARP discount is a joke. Also keep in mind it is Spring Break for alot of folks and yes, prices will go up. Good Luck!  😎

I hope you found a place.  I stayed in an Airbnb in Cleveland and had a fantastic eclipse experience.

Have you tried to see if there is a tour group maybe thru AAA.  Maybe there's a place one group will be staying. I mean it doesn't last long, maybe catch last train out too.
