Can anyone suggest protein powder for elderly (between 65 and 80 years old) women and men? I don't trust reviews from marketplace. If anyone is taking daily protein powder and have good benefits, please share with me; we're willing to try it.
Thanks in advance.
I I make a protein shake with almond milk, plain yogurt, honey and sometimes blackberries or strawberries that includes a scoop of Amazing Greens superfood plant blend powder. I usually include chia seeds and sometimes cacao nibs. It's ridiculously healthy! I am battling a very large hiatal hernia that will likely require surgery, but I am trying other avenues first.
I havenโt tried any powdered protein, but Owyn makes excellent protein shakes. I really like the vanilla one, and itโs not chalky, but very smooth and incredible taste of vanilla. I just checked their website and the company also makes a powder. Havenโt tried those before so canโt vouch for them, but I do enjoy the shakes. Pricey, but very good after a workout. I buy the shakes in Walmart and target.
