Since this has been activated I have yet to be able to load the screen and do anything....all I get is a load screen on edge, chrome, firefox etc. it will not open and thus I cannot do anything with the points.

By load screen, do you mean you get a spinning wheel and the web site won't load?  Does it finally timeout if you wait long enough?  Or is something else happening?
