What should I do now?
I’ve had this problem and I called the Walgreens number to find out my value. It was there but for some reason the stores do not know how to process it. One even asked me where did you get this, it was a card BOUGHT on the Walgreens site and I told them it is your gift card. They asked why I did not get a physical card? Because the only option when buying online is a digital download! Anyway check your value then ask for a history of transactions. I sometimes use it for online orders as it seems to work there. I had the same problem with Burger King cards. Good luck.
@gvz So sorry to hear that Walgreens did not accept your gift card. Did the sales associate explain why they denied your gift card? Was it due to insufficient funds on the card? Was there a technical issue at the store that prevented them from accepting it? Please provide me with as much detail as possible, and I will do my best to assist! - Janelle M.
I had that happen with a CVS gift card that was emailed to me from CVS itself. The store claimed that it was already used, but couldn't tell me when or at what store.
Blasting them on FaceBook sometimes get a better response. Also, check the attorney general website for your state, as they accept & look into gift card complaints.
