If people would volunteer to serve others on Christmas Day, they would save money and feel much better for the service that they perform. As a long time volunteer, I have never felt better than when I served other people. Giving doesn't have to cost money,if you just give your time to help the people in your community.

I'm taking advantage of the wealth of information readily available in the quizzes and videos the AARP Rewards Program offers. For example, I plan on impressing my guests by telling them that leftover beer can be used to clean stains, remove rust, and spruce up wood furnishings. I guarantee you they won't believe me, and the surprise will be entertaining. I also took note of healthy eating habits that I will employ at Christmas dinner, like enjoying a bowl of soup before the meal to help regulate how much I eat for the main course.
I've also been completing the daily crossword puzzle and other activities to accumulate points so that I can enter as many tickets into one of the sweepstakes to increase my chances of winning. And just like my Christmas wish that I asked for from Santa, the sweepstakes I'm hoping to win will remain a secret.
And finally, I'm going to take advantage of some of the discounted gift cards to to help save some money on my holiday expenses. In particular, the gift card for Michael's, so that I can save on the materials I need for a fun holiday project I have planned for my nephews.
There are plenty of ways to use AARP Rewards, but it is up to you to take the time and discover how. And the best part is that it's fun, which is a welcome distraction to mitigate any potential stress.
And just as Bob Cratchit in a Christmas Carol expressed his gratitude for the meager meal Scrooge initially provided him, choosing to celebrate its abundance rather than bemoan it's scarcity, no matter how much we save or spend this season, the holidays call us to abandon need and want and to feel blessed for what we have. As Tiny Tim aptly put: God bless us every one.

I'm still pretty new to it. I've been doing it for the last few months. I learn alot through the video's and quiz's and enjoy that. The points add up. I get them also now through my fitbit steps earned. I have put in for some sweepstakes and toward winning a gift card. None so far but it's just a matter of time. Thank you.

I use a combination of entering daily instant win sweeps to win a $10 gift card or redeem points for $5 gift cards. They make a great combination of gift cards as gifts for stocking stuffers for family. Any left over are used for dirty Santa for people to steal the gift cards they really want most. We have so much fun for the holidays because of AARP!

I save my Rewards Points for restaurant gift cards. On Tuesdays, I treat my grandson to lunch out after we go to our local library’s story hour. Tuesdays have become our special day together and it’s inexpensive thanks to the restaurant cards I earn through the Rewards Program.

I thoroughly enjoy the AARP Rewards. I watch the videos and participate in the quizzes to earn points daily. Last month I entered several of the sweepstakes, and I said, "if I win the Door Dash Prize, I will gift it to my daughter." I am so thrilled that I won, and my daughter is so thankful for the $200 gift card. I love AARP Rewards.

I save with AARP Rewards by doing the quizzes and videos whenever I’m pretending to “be productive.” Turns out, earning points is way easier than finding my reading glasses. I stack up points, grab discounted gift cards, and suddenly I feel like a coupon-clipping ninja minus the scissors. It’s the easiest money I’ve ever saved without leaving the couch.

I save with AARP Rewards by turning everyday moments into easy wins. I complete the short quizzes and videos while having my morning coffee, and the points add up faster than I expected. I also check for discounted gift cards before I shop those savings stack up throughout the year. The program keeps me motivated with simple goals, and I like that I can redeem points for practical rewards that actually help my budget.

I use the AARP rewards program to participate in learning activities to gain rewards points. I save on local deals and also on gift cards for myself or friends. I am coming back later this week to use my points for a discounted Safeway gift card. Anything I can save on groceries is a big help!
