Rewards

II’ve suspected for while that AARP steals rewards points.  For the last several days I haven’t played the word and trivia games, which I do daily.  Today I log into my account and found that 30,000 points were deducted.  It’s incredible and disgusted that they can do this.  I am not impressed with this thievery!!!  It took me weeks to gain these points and they without any cause they stole them from me.   I contacted them and I was told it’s their policy and that I am emailed whenever this stealing is done.  I have never, ever received any notification. They can take their policy and _____ where the sun does not shine!!  THIEVES!!!

@Gennarino I'm terribly sorry to hear about this. It sounds like your Rewards points expired. Your points expire one year after you earn them on the first day of the following month. For example, any unredeemed points earned in January 2024 will expire on February 1, 2025. You can find more info about points expiration in the AARP Rewards terms and conditions here: https://www.aarp.org/about-aarp/rewards-terms-and-conditions/?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=1431781102.... When you redeem your points, we always use your oldest points first. You can review your Transaction History to view expired and expiring points here: https://www.aarp.org/rewards/transaction/?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=14317811024#view=expiration. We will also remind you about upcoming points expiring on your monthly AARP Rewards Account Summary. This email is sent at the beginning of each month. If you'd like me to check your account to ensure you are opted in to receive these emails, please send me a private message with your complete name, mailing address and email address, and I'll be happy to check on it. Thank you.  - Janelle M.
