I'm told I've Maxed Out and I'm nowhere close

For the last couple of days, I'm being told that I have Maxed Out for the day.  I thought that a Member, which I have been for years, was able to earn 7,500 pts. per day, while a non-Member could only earn 5,000.  Since they stopped me tonight at 5,495 (and I started with some, but can't remember how many), I think that AARP be treating me as a non-Member.  And, they just took my automatic renewal!

this happened to me, I went in daily to the chat and requested the difference, each day for 6 days they credited it but only since I asked.  Finally for me today, Monday, after 6 days of this it was fixed.  But I still check my totals daily.

I just tried the chat and after several attempts at explaining, it told me to use chat during AARP business hours to speak to a live agent.  But, it couldn't tell me what their business hours are!  Do you happen to know - EST?  Thank you.

Oh, some Googling indicates 8 to 8 est.

I just chatted with them now so this is a good time to try.  but 8 AM-8 PM EST M-F is their open time.  And when you go on chat after the bot asks you what you want, immediately put in LIVE HELP so you don't waste your time with the bot.

Thanks for that tip!  I've chatted with the same live agent twice today.  After the first time, my pt total dramatically increased.  Regretfully, I had to talk with her again to let her know the same 200 rather than 300 was happening today.  I mentioned this site has been having a lot of technical difficulties - apparently, since a recent update.

nice thing about chat, you can request a copy of the transcript or you can cut and paste it so that you have proof of your conversation.  At the end of your chat, if you are successful (sometimes the connection gets lost and it is history) a box comes up saying send me a copy, click it and then you have it for future reference.  But if you know how to cut and paste you might do that before the chat ends, they don't allow you to get it after and sometimes it does not get sent so to be on the safe side cut and paste it to yourself.

Great idea.  I did ask for a transcipt and was given the option at the end of each chat; but, I really like your idea of cut/paste!  Thank you!

Does your transaction history show if you're getting 200 or 300 points for the videos you are watching?  You can also use your transaction history to see how many points you earned for the day.

Thank you so much for your reply and you're right.  Through 3-29-25, I was receiving 300 pts.; but, on 3-30 and 3-31, I'm only getting 200!!  Now, whom should I contact?
