Disappointed to see Kroger or related grocers gift cards going away
Kroger gift cards are no longer available. Bummer!
I would be very appreciative if you can bring it back. Thank you.
Fellow members, please reply to the post if you feel the same way.

On a positive note: thank you for bringing back the Kroger cards.
On a negative note: I bought 5 of them today and What The Living Fudge?! You took a simple process and made it SOOOOO much more complicated. Here's the old process: click on the "Get Your Reward" link in the email, get a webpage with the info/barcode, print the page. Here's the new process: click on the "Get Your Reward" link in the email, get a webpage that says "Click here to view your eGift Card" with a "secret code", copy the secret code to the clipboard, click on the link, get a new webpage, paste in the "secret code", get a new webpage with the info/barcode (plus extra crap on the lefthand side), click on the print link, get a popup that doesn't make clear that there are now TWO PAGES ready to print (the second page being worthless stuff so now you need to know to remember to set your printer to only print the first page), then print. Rinse & repeat FOR EVERY GIFT CARD.
Nice. Thank you for such an improved experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share, @StevenC45084. The $25 and $50 denominations are available. Keep an eye on our catalog, as we're continuously updating it. - Diana G.

And now it's October with no indication of when Kroger cards will be available....
Slightly off topic, but I'm also confused why Home Depot cards are only offered in $25 amounts. I can't imagine many people wanting to bother buying $25 cards when the typical Home Depot purchase is so much larger.

Hi @StevenC45084, I can understand your frustration. We don't have a date to provide for the Kroger gift cards and at this moment the only denomination available for the Home Depot ones is $25. Be sure that we update our catalog with items as soon as they become available. Stay tuned. - Diana G.

I agree, AARP has been less than forthcoming with this information. They know a lot of people rely on them so it would be nice if they kept us up-to-date. The same thing happened with the Giant Eagle gift cards and it's now been months with nothing coming back.

I'm sorry to hear the current gift cards available through AARP Rewards don't have a store in your area, @mikeandlavada. We still don't have a date for when the Kroger gift cards will be available, but we keep updating our catalog and make every effort to restock popular items as soon as they become available. - Diana G.

@CarolJ240968 Hi there, I can clear that up. The Kroger gift cards have temporarily been removed from the AARP Rewards catalog. We are expecting them to return later this month. Thanks for being a loyal Rewards user! Jodee R.

Thank you for your feedback @WinnieM910002. I'll pass it along to our team, so it can be reviewed and addressed. Meanwhile, keep checking back periodically as new inventory is added for a variety of brands. We are grateful for your support! - Daniela R.

If the merger goes through with Vons/Albertsons being bought out by Kroger everything will change. There is a list of stores possibly closing in the US (Vons/Albertson). This is Kroger's second try to buy them out. So there might be some major changes coming. I hope this does not happen.

@BenjaminM550041 I can clear that up! They have only been temporarily removed, and will return to the catalog by the end of August. In the meantime, there are other grocery gift cards such as Safeway, Albertsons, Instacart, and more. Thanks for being a part of AARP Rewards! Jodee R.

It's quite unsettling to hear initially that the gift cards would be restocked end of August. It is now middle, almost END of September and AARP is less than transparent. Do you have ANY update other than "keep checking our catalog"? As you can see, MANY people rely on these gift cards as thats the sole purpose of their AARP membership. Can you give us ANY response other than corporate garbled nonsense?

'' ''As you can see, MANY people rely on these gift cards as thats the sole purpose of their AARP membership.''
Month #3, no movement!!
Yup. This in my ONLY reason for being an AARP member. HINT to AARP, no Kroger cards, no membership is necessary I'll vote with my feet thanks. Hint to Krogers, we are shopping elsewhere !
AARP, prestigious (?) advocacy nationwide organization, but can't have a pow-wow with Krogers on...a few gift cards?
For real?
Perhaps not as much clout as I thought, or as touted!
