I am having this exact same issue.  Why does AARP seem to have this issue for years on end!?!??!??!   They just randomly block people from buying gift cards??

[Thursday 4/16/26] โžก๏ธ OLD THREAD FROM 2-8-23 โฌ…๏ธ

@RobertW935818

(1) Have you called back the AARP Customer Service about you CHANGING your "email address"? They have to do it.

(2) AARP has NOT "blocked" you. Email addresses have to MATCH - your credit card/debit card & what AARP has. You posted THIS MORNING that you "changed" your email address. I had suggested you call them back & ask AARP to change THEIR records.

(3) Ranting on THIS AARP Community Board is going to end up with your access being removed. They DONOT like this & part of their GUIDELINES.

Anyway, it is up to YOU to "fix" your issue by calling them again.

@RobertW935818 , did you ask them to CHANGE your email address in THEIR records so it now "matches" what you changed it to? Email addresses have to MATCH = cards & AARP data.

@CraigD696958 Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about this error you are receiving. Ad-blockers may also cause this error message; have you had an opportunity to try disabling any browser-based ad block and tracking settings? If you'd like to let me know which browser you are using, I can provide the steps we have to disable these settings.

Phillip...I too, am having the same issue, and I have already bought 30 cards or so from the website.  It literally just got turned off overnight.  Were they able to finally fix your problem or did you end up quitting?
