Hi Tina, This is Richard Wong, I got an email saying something about a gift card sent to me that hasn't been redeemed yet. It was for the Senior Planet Impact Study, $20 Visa digital gift card.

Can you please advise on this?

Many thanks for your assistance!

Richard

After retiring from a fulfilling teaching career, I soon found myself craving mental stimulation and physical activity. I first visited the AARP Rewards program two years ago, and it has become an integral part of my daily life. I discovered a variety of activities that were educational, motivational, and economical (free!). My favorite "learn and earn" activities for nurturing my mind include playing Word Wipe, completing quizzes, and watching videos (which I do daily). I also enjoy reading the informative and timely articles in the Weekly Webletter and completing the theme- based modules offered monthly as Extra Credit Rewards. My favorite activities for nurturing my body are walking 5000 steps daily (and earning points!), incorporating new exercises from the 10-minute workout videos into my weekly routine, and trying a new healthy recipe each month from the Staying Sharp nutrition videos. Two of the Staying Sharp Challenges, Pursuit of Happiness and Being Present, have provided me with valuable information and introduced techniques that I use daily for nurturing my soul. The AARP Rewards program has played a significant role in my lifelong learning journey, and I look forward to exploring future activities provided by the program which will continue nurturing my mind, body, and spiritโฃ๏ธ

My husband just retired and we're finding new activities to do together through AARP. In fact, AARP has been instrumental in helping us freshen up our lives by offering helpful videos for seniors, and we earn reward points while we're at it. We're travelling and doing more cooking, and we appreciate the advise on learning how to maintain intimacy as we mature. It was a delicate topic to approach, but very fulfilling in our relationship!

Lifelong Learning Earning & Endless Rewards is so true for me. I have to thank you for all I have learned about caregiving. A few years ago, I became my father's caregiver. All I learned came from AARP. I did not know where to begin. I watched all the webinars on caregiving, dementia and Alzheimer's. Took the quizzes also and applying what I watched and learned while earning points.

My father passed & two years later my mother fell & broke her hip, and it started all over again. It was hard and also easy because of what I had learned from AARP. Seven months later my mother

passed. I have put in writing what my (2) sons need to do in case something happens to me

because Alzheimer's runs deep on my father's side of our family. I am continuing learning from

AARP. Earlier this year my oldest son became a member.

I love learning and earning with AARP Rewards. I like earning points with the Daily Crossword, the Daily Mini Crossword and Let's Crossword to stay sharp. I also like the Right On! trivia games to test and increase my knowledge. I often earn points watching the exercise videos with Denise Austin and follow the 10-minute videos targeting different muscle groups, sometimes stringing a few together for a longer, more complete muscle and body workout. To keep my mind sharp while earning points, I answer quizzes and try to beat my last score. I also earn points and get ideas for delicious, healthy dinners, sides, and snacks with the helpful recipe videos, many of which are quick and simple to make, and always easy to follow. I also watch videos to learn new things on a wide variety of topics. I haven't won any of the sweepstakes yet, but sometimes the prize is in the learning itself. It's fun to learn (and earn). Happy hunting for your favorite activities.

I love the quizzes available to us! I usually take the quiz first to see what prior knowledge I have on the topic, then I brainstorm how to apply it positively to my life! And I try to do that in small steps so Iโ€™m not overwhelmed.

Answering the quizzes keeps my mind sharp and provides a lot of useful information that I have applied to life, such as ways to add more protein and fiber to my diet.

My favorite AARP Rewards activities include watching informative videos and playing WordWipe.  The videos open up a world of learning.  Word wipe enhances my speed and often I learn new words to use in the game.

I Love staying sharp because it allows a person to engage their mind and that keeps the mind and body healthy.

Thank you AARP!

I've been an AARP member with my husband for at least a couple years now, and we've participated in everything from online exercise/yoga classes to various games (like Let's Crossword and Right Again! trivia) to watching videos with helpful tips and recipes--and we've even won a few little gift cards here and there. In the summer when school's out and/or we are apart, doing Let's Crossword together has been our couples bonding time, in fact! It's fun to collaborate and take turns on solving those, and sometimes we do them at home while cuddling on the couch. What's nice is that you can spend a little time or a lot with the AARP newsletters and website, at your convenience, and you will learn helpful health, home/family, travel, and job-related tips and perhaps even earn rewards from your participation. (It's fun to dream, anyway!)

As I indicated earlier, I love the games and learn from them.  I am a lifelong learner and so as I learn with AARP, I am also doing other things to build my knowledge so I can help others.  I am also working on a Doctor of Ministry degree in public ministry so I can encourage people in helping others.  It is exacting work and the games and movies are part of my relaxation and bring me "down to earth" in the midst of academia.  Thank you for providing good, healthy entertainment.

Fun to rack up points, while checking out news of the week quizzes and 5 things to know videos (used a recently earned Pet Smart gift card to buy crickets for the pet frogs I inherited when my daughter moved into her college dorm) - thanks!

I have been an AARP member for almost one year. I joined for the discounts and for the AARP Magazine. Little did I know that my membership would provide me with access to SO much quality content that has helped make my retirement so much fuller and enjoyable. I particularly enjoy access to quizzes and videos that are educational and provide timely information in diverse areas such as nutrition, mental health, physical health, safety and security, tech tips, as well as providing corroborations from other seniors that my experiences are in line with others, which is comforting. Another bonus is being able to earn rewards points to use to enter contests or purchase discounted gift cards, and, on occasion, earn a free gift card. I am so pleased to be part of the AARP community and have encouraged friends and family to join.

My husband and I have been members for a few years.  We have learned much from the topics that you have offered.  In addition, we use our AARP card whenever possible for discounts and enjoy the quizzes and games that you offer.  I have used rewards in the past to try to win something but, to date, I have not๐Ÿ˜”.  I too enjoy reading your magazines and bulletins; thanks for all you do and offer to the older crowd๐Ÿ˜€

AARP REWARDS offer me an opportunity to learn in so many different ways. I love the Ted Talks that explore many different topics from a personal view and presenters from all mediums. And I'm a foodie who likes the many different types of recipes. Thanks to AARP, I can fulfill my goal to be a LIFELONG LEARNER!
