Eplain about the percentage back from buying gift cards through AARP? I've bought thousands of Carnival cruise gift cards when they were available and never got a discount on AARP membership! Do you add a code or something?

Are you talking about the personal property tax on cars? You can google the amount as long as you know the county. Here in Loudoun County (northern Va) it's $4.15 p/$100 of assessed value. (So obviously an older car is better.) If you're talking ...

From the other side of the situation, I was going to sign up to volunteer to do taxes last year. The schedule for volunteering was awful--times like 6-9 at night (I don't like to drive on icy roads at night), noon to 2 on a Saturday (that just kills...
