You wouldn’t lose anything. Your membership would be extended by 5 years, just like mine was when I paid $55 TODAY. They confirmed (on another page) that the 5 years would be added to my current membership, so it goes until 2033. I wouldn’t pay $2...

For hopefully the last time we all have to hear about this, please post a photo of your card. We should be able to clearly see the expiration date. If it actually says you have a lifetime membership that has an expiration, we’ll all eat our hats.

If you have a membership card that said “Lifetime Member,” you have all the proof you need. They put the expiration on the card. It is not complex.

I don’t know why they’d let you keep leaving false information. It’s a disservice to the community here. It’s a simple thing to know if the entity sending you a “bill” is a scam artist. They try to impersonate someone you might think you owe money...

If you paid AARP for a lifetime membership, that is what you get. No, they can’t and don’t change it later. (Some folks fall for scams where they pay someone else or a fake organization and don’t realize it). If you receive advertising about renew...
