Ain't it great to have a curious mind?! And Google is so helpful for folks like us. I too rescue plants that have been put out to the curb, and although not as successful as you are, at least some little lives were saved. keep up the good work!

Bless you! That's nipping the problem at the bud and that's so important. I have always appreciated the work that Best Friends in Utah does in that respect. If only neutering were a given, so much suffering could be prevented. Keep up the great work!
