Alexandra has been teaching, writing, editing, and speaking about fitness for over 30 years. Certified by the American Council on Exercise since 1986, she is currently on staff in the exercise studies department at UC Santa Barbara (UCSB), and is also a contributing editor and writer for IDEA Health and Fitness Association. With an advanced degree in systemic counseling, and years as a radio DJ in Santa Barbara County, Alexandra knows the power and joy of active living.
