I don't see what state the parent lives in makes a difference, crooks live in every state. I think a call to SSI will answer more questions than a forum.

I have in my transaction history that I redeemed 17000 points today for a bass pro shops card, never seen it not come to my e-mail shortly after that. It has been over an hour now.
