If you cancel, the money is put back onto the original gift card. If you put the value of the gift cards onto your ship on board account and you don’t spend it all, the unused balance is put back onto your original gift card.

2 months ago I took mine on board and customer service applied them to my on board account. I would call or chat with princess again and see if that person made a mistake. My travel agent accepted them as payment for another booking. Good luck

Are Princess Cruises cards still available for purchase? If no, are these cards put off and on like sales? How do I stay current to know when they are added back on? Thanks, Linda
