Two: Whippets and Scottish Deerhounds.   They are similar and very different in personality.  I cannot imagine not having both in my life.  And my Deerhound will keep me warm on the colderst night!

Sighthounds!  Specifically Whippets.  They are gentle "couch potatoes" who can also sprint 35 mph.  I never tire of watching them, while running, kick into turbo drive mid-stride.  It is awe inspiring. After such a run, they are quite happy to retire...
