I stick to my budget and save money by using AARP Rewards and getting free gift cards, or buying gift cards at reduced prices. For a long time, we would save at least 10% by buying Princess gift cards, and it made the cruises just that much more fun...

Just wanted to add that original email to Princess and AARP heads was sent on 10/18. It is now 11/3 and no indication back from either side that anything is changing or being worked on.

I just sent a single email to both the heads of AARP and Princess hoping to get the two of them getting to get the two organizations to start talking to each other. Or at least both sides not just saying the other side made the decision.

That is NOT the story that Princess's head office has relayed. They say that the decision to stop selling Princess gift cards was an AARP decision. Maybe they aren't telling the truth, or maybe the AARP folks are misinformed. All I know is that on...
