I'm involuntarily retired. I was a caregiver with an agency in Ketchikan for several years till I had an accident. I cannot do the same duties because of my accident, Now I volunteer at the local library and live life as it comes to me. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. To date I'm in remission and doing fairly well

I have learned a lot in my 73 yrs. I guess my knowledge abou caregiving has given me empathy about age and the challenges we all face, off and on; practically and emotionally.
