I survived the nightmare of this abusive and botched transition by AARP to Barclays by extracting myself and concurrently changing cards, ultimately to Chase Freedom Unlimited card, which has been smooth as silk....

I'm so thankful I got away from these incompetent fools... I went to the Hotels.com card long enough to get the two free hotel nights, which I enjoyed in a harbor view room in San Diego's Point Loma... NOW, I have cancelled that and applied/ received...

You are on point about how other's have suffered at the hands of a CLUELESS AARP and the irony of it all!!! Make sure when you cancel the Barclays card, as I did, that you cash in your credits first... The $10 offered for this "inconvenience" of wai...

Well, after waiting for a total of 5 hours over the last month or so to get my card activated I had to wait another 40 minutes yesterday just to cancel my credit card!!!It's funny how when holding, the recording says: Please wait for a " Relationship...

This is neglect and elder abuse! They have had LOTS of time to straighten this out and ANSWER THE G.D. PHONE!!! It is RUDE to say the least to make myself and other's wait for HOURS that's HOURS to fix THEIR problem!!!!!
