We will be traveling to Virginia Beach this summer and using giftcards bought at a discount from AARP to save on items for our trip.

For Memorial Day, we’ll use a low fat ground beef to make a burger on our charcoal grill along with a whole wheat bun, lettuce, tomato and red onion. Add some high fiber baked beans and a low fat salad. Yummy!

I’ve eliminated foods high in salt and fat due to health issues. Have increased veggies and fruit and find that I feel better!

Good for you. I feel pretty much the same and I thank God everyday that I can be retired and simply enjoy the day exactly as I wish!

I follow a Weight Watcher plan that focuses on more protein, less sugar and less fat. I’ve lost over 50 lbs and was able to eliminate one prescription. Plus I’m eating more vegetables and fruits which help deter many health issues.
