It's wise to start planning, though I understand how difficult it is. An elder law attorney is who you need to handle POAs, finances and Medicaid planning as one unit.

Your absolutely not being over sensitive, when you're that new, all those automatic phrases can just be really hurtful. My dear, your husband meant everything to you, and I know of course that conversation is still unreal and painful.

Losing a child is a pain that stays with you always. Sometimes after years it feels just a raw.I hope you can find a group that truly understands.

What you wrote is so true, memories have this way of feeling soothing yet painful all at once. It's a strong thing what you are doing, showing up, being introspective and moving on especially when it's difficult.

You're not alone, breaks are essential. Check out adult day care, a few hours of in-home, or find local respite programs, there are many that are inexpensive. A short break goes a long way.
