A native Montanan and graduate of the University of Montana, Tom’s career in corporate IT and as the owner of a consulting practice took him across America and internationally. His consulting clients included HP, IBM, Microsoft, state and local governments and start-ups.
With his wife’s diagnosis of terminal brain cancer, Tom retired and pivoted to writing. His first book, "Lucy’s Biggest Fish to Fry, "was an acclaimed memoir that followed Lucy’s journey with brain cancer. After her death, he unexpectedly found himself in a singles world he never imagined. Shifting gears, he decided to write "The Accidental Player" which is a fictional account of a widower navigating the fine line between hope and despair as he grieves, deals with loss and toys with a second chance at happiness.
His current project is a collaboration on a screenplay adaptation of The Accidental Player.
Tom has two adult children. He and his loving partner split time between Montana, Colorado, and Arizona.
