Thanks Olga - I will try that next timeI was so hacked off with the AARP piece this time round that I decided to not use Oneworld (BA or American) and flew Delta this time around... Its stuff like this that really puts you off flying BA - I hope tha...

it’s more an AARP problem - BA washes its hands of this stuff - I already spoke to them said the issue is at the AARP side still easier to get through to BA than trying to figure out how to do private messages on this site (helps a little to be lifet...

Just need to look at the chase British airways card - last year I got the AARP discount (mind you even last year it took numerous attempts to get the discount screen to work!) and 10% off with the BA card

I tried it at 2pm this afternoon and searched online forums on the issue - hence my responseI just tried again and no joy my end - no AARP recognition via the AARP link

I looked at the Hartford last year - whilst I didn't have an issue with price gouging (they weren't the cheapest for me but they weren't that far off)... I did however note that the price with using AARP or not was identical so no benefit here Unfort...
