Goodrx is often a good one to use for a better price but isn't it sad to pay for insurance that supposedly covers medications and then have a coupon or cash price be less than the cost of a co-pay. The system is BROKEN!

Cigna owns Express Scripts so I can't imagine them using Optum. United Health Care owns Optum so I don't think they will ever get rid of their own company.

Goodrx is an either or thing. You can't use BOTH insurance and goodrx together. If goodrx is less than your co-pay then use them. If your co-pay is less then use your insurance. I did have a pharmacy tech try to tell me that I couldn't use a goodrx c...

Funny that you say you are an "advocate" with OptumRx and that Optum gets its pricing from insurance (United Health Care). They are one and the same! United Health Care owns OptumRx!! They are their own Pharmacy Benefit Manager and negotiate the lowe...
