If you read 'Beckers Healthcare newsletter' recently, they are more and more institutions that are dropping Medicare Advantage plans. (They cant stay in business seeing these patients.)

The real question is, does CMS want the providers to keep the patients 'healthier' or to control their 'costs'?  You can call it keeping the elderly 'healthier' to make it look like a reputable program but let's call it what it is.
