I think the majority of people who had activation issues were related to incorrect birthdates being transferred into the Barclays system. Such a poorly executed transition - by an organization that is supposed to advocate for seniors! What a discon...

I disagree with your reply. When I finally was able to get a live person at Barclays on 9/20 (after 4 hours and 20 minutes on hold), the agent told me they had my mother's birthdate as a 8-1-33. My mother wasnt even alive in 1933! Then the Barclay...

I finally was able to get my 85 year old mom's card activated yesterday after 4 hours and 20 minutes on hold (I don't give up easily) - and Mom had already spent hours on hold earlier in the day - but she could not take the muzak - it was driving her...
