Tell us about yourself:
When I was 7 I fell in Love with North Nashville Carnegie Library. Earlier in 1965 my teacher helped me learn I was a Gemini because she was an avid fan of NASA and Gemini was flying that year. She inspired me to start reading the newspaper and I've never looked back. Soon a very special display was added to the library of US Colored Troops defending Fort Negley the largest Fort East of Mississippi. I later learned the first military savings banks were established in three cities New Orleans, LA Beaufort, SC and Norfolk VA for USCT's then those banks became part of the 40 Freedman Banks. I became hooked on saving
