Newly retired from teaching and also from the USAF, CA ANG. Am practicing "Health is wealth" in retirement while finding my way in this new phase of life. I bike, play tennis, play guitar and enjoy watching movies at the theatre.
Have a son who is in his last year of university, so am kind of waiting to see what happens for him after he graduates before I make any major decisions. Am treating my first year of retirement as a transition year. Will volunteer for my school district and the FOL (Friends of the Library). So far, so good.... loving retirement.
Area of knowledge and what I know well:
Know about SPED IEP's and all that they entail in a special education context.
I've been engaged three times, but was never able to "seal the deal". Newly retired, I peruse the AARP Relationship videos and quizzes to keep my brain as sharp as a tack. Maybe I'll stick to dating.
