My prescription insurance and my pharmacy is messing with the new guide line for insulin. need help

My insurance company says they will only pay for 30 days of insulin at 35.00 but the way the doctor wrote the script I can only get 1 pen which only lasts 20 days, then I have to go back and get more insulin and the pharmacy will charge me another 35...
