I was born and raised in Kenya and moved to California in 1984 where I’ve spent most of my adult life.
A chronic non-retiree, I trained and worked in business administration before I transitioned to nonfiction writing in 2012. I’m passionate about education, which I believe can get people out of dehumanizing poverty. My dream is one day to build a school library in rural Kenya.
I’m a lifetime member of the San Diego Friends of the Library, The Rotary Club, and the San Diego Writers & Editors Guild among others.
