I went to the Panera up the street for the first time with a $5 card in the morning when only a few were there and no line. It was a good new experience, but I wouldn't pay full price and certainly not go at their busy lunch hour.

American Family increased my rates by 50%, even though I have an excellent driving record. Progressive gave me a rate lower than my former premium. Maybe insurers think that old people are too reluctant to change. I did this all online.

The IRS Free File is available today. Only a few percent of people eligible to use it do. It has been available for over twenty years. I have used it for three years and wish I had done so sooner. It is free for those earning under $79,000. Thos...

If you have a lot of squash or pumpkin, use it to make bread. Instead of water, grind it, add enough flour to make a dough, then add yeast or sourdough starter. Other vegetables will work too.
