Hi Everyone, I recently moved from small town Georgia to a large city in NC to be near my grown children with lives of their own, as it should be, to discover that the culture and mindset is completely different. Southern small town folks want to get to know you because you can never have too many friends and big city folks will greet and welcome you but seem to keep you at arms length. Not sure why, could be busy?? But here I am, 61 years old and starting over. It’s exciting and terrifying at the same time. I work in the top of the lower half of the totem pole of the financial world. I am new to maneuvering in this AARP site and have found it very busy. Lots of interesting things going on.
