Salutations from Jackson, MO! I am a 57 year young mother (of 5) and grandmother (of 15). I love my family so much but they are spread out all over the country, so I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. Being divorced (12 yrs) after 25 years of marriage is very unsettling! It's a strangely weird world out here now. Far different than I remember! Especially the whole dating scene. Wow! What a trip! But I look forward to every day with renewed anticipation to see what the day will bring. I dreaded turning 57, but I am finding it comfortable more and more every day. Of course there are the aches and pains and "middle-age spread" but my mother assures me I'll get over it! Oh well. I still have my sense of humor and wits about me, so I guess I'm doing alright! LOL!

I studied Psychology/Sociology in College, and I'm a natural people watcher and conversationalist so I tend to be able to read people fairly well. People open up and talk to me naturally. This served me well in a my professional pursuits, although I am now retired, I still have an eye for detail and effective communication skills that still ser ve me well.
