Making the Transition

There's no question that the concept of "retirement" has changed as there are no gold watches out there any longer. My concern is going from F/T to a reasonable P/T job that is interesting and sustainable. Planning is just that: decide in advance what is needed for the future before the future become the present. Is there a P/T of job that is more than P/T but not F/T that would allow for financial rewards? No benefits required! To others I am 10 years younger than I look and act. I have a desire to be out of the rat race and into a mutually beneficial work environment sharing my years of marketing, management and purchasing experience while receiving decent pay. Status: Employed in the northeast but wanting a change without dealing with age bias. Thoughts anyone?
