Getting a job after being with the same organixation for 25 years is tough

I am having a hard time getting a job with benefits ,and a full time job is nearly nonexistent.

I am very sorry that you are no longer with the same company. 

Have you taken advantage of any of the services that your local job center offers for job seekers, while doing your job search? They usually have some kind of job workshops and seminars that are available, that you can go to.

Some centers might also have someone on staff who can help you look over your resume, too. 

They also usually have employment information that you can either borrow to use there as a resource, or free booklets and hand-outs that you can take with you to use at home.
